For the quotation of tiered farm equipment, please provide your poultry house drawings, the existing equipment you will keep, and whether you need to feed, collect eggs, clear feces, or a combination of these systems. If known, please include the number of devices you expect to order. Request the supplier to determine the proposed models and quantities, included components, exclusions, and on-site information required for the review configuration.

Define what you purchase and keep

Explain whether the project is a new installation, replacement, or a supplement to existing equipment. List the cages, troughs, egg belts, conveyors, and control devices that you will keep. Provide available drawings, model references, measurement values, and photos of connection points.

List this order and any subsequent upgrades separately. For each future addition, inquire about which parts of the initial device will be retained, which interface changes or additional components are needed, and whether these items are included in the current quotation or need to be quoted separately. Do not confirm the subsequent configuration until these issues have been reviewed.

If production must continue during the renovation period, please identify it as a limiting factor evaluated by the farm team and installation personnel. Before starting work, have them review any necessary shutdown, isolation, and debugging arrangements.

Please refer to the "Guidelines for Automated Planning of Stacked Chicken Farms" for the overall project planning.

Feeding: Determine the source of feed, cage and supply boundary

For automatic poultry feeding systems, mark the route from the feed source to the sink. Please indicate whether you need to use the feeder separately or also require feed storage and transfer equipment.

When inquiring about the elevated mobile feeder, please provide the cage length, layer arrangement, slot details, and available elevated space. Request a proposed layout that displays the driving route, support, and clearance.

Please indicate in the quotation:

  • The model, quantity, and row or layer to be served by each unit.
  • Does it include a hopper, track, bracket, driver, and control device.
  • The location of the feeder entering the quotation equipment and who provides the upstream connection.
  • Specific electrical and installation requirements for specific models, and who conducts on-site inspections based on these requirements.
  • Drawings and operation and maintenance instructions are available.

If the slot size, feed supply, or installation space have not been confirmed, please request a review of the missing measurements and specific models before accepting the configuration.

Egg collection: check each transfer point

For the egg collection system of poultry, display the position where the eggs leave the cage and the location they need to reach. Identify any collection stations, conveyors, graders, or packaging machines that you will keep.

For vertical egg elevators, please provide measurements of floor height, belt position and width, direction of travel, and proposed installation area.

Request the supplier to provide an explanation:

  • What are the egg belts, elevators, tables, and connecting conveyors included.
  • Proposed transfer points and any necessary modifications.
  • The processing capability, unit, and operating conditions used for the quotation. Provide your planned collection period and inquire about any additional information needed to compare with the proposal.
  • Control arrangements and who reviews and retains device connections.
  • The installation and maintenance space required for the selected model.

Request to confirm the proposed interface based on your actual device. The general cage description may not match your existing egg ribbon or packaging line.

Fecal removal: separate collection, transfer, and external treatment

For poultry manure removal systems, mark cage rows, house exits, and expected receiving points. Please indicate whether your inquiry covers collection under the cage, transfer outside the cage, or additional processing beyond this range.

For the belt type manure removal system, please inquire about the quotation to distinguish:

  • Cage type horizontal belt, driver, tension device, and discharge component.
  • Cross or inclined conveyors, indicate whether each type of conveyor is included or optional.
  • The row end and exit space required for the proposed layout.
  • The final unloading point covered by the quotation.
  • Any equipment or on-site work provided by the buyer exceeds this point.

If the export or receiving area has not been determined, please obtain the missing site details before accepting the layout. Storage, loading, and handling are separate scope issues; If necessary, please confirm clearly.

Confirm installation, control, and commercial terms

Mark each item as included, optional, buyer provided, excluded, or awaiting confirmation. Compare suppliers using the same scope.

ItemWritten confirmation request for the project
Equipmentmodel, quantity, configuration, capacity base, and connection points
Control and electrical workprovide control, specific model power requirements, interface documents, and responsible parties
On-site workAny necessary support, openings, or civil works required for on-site work shall be clearly indicated on the drawings and responsibilities

Send a project brief and list any unclear content

Include the following information in your inquiry:

Project informationWhat does project information provide
Location and project typeCountry, farm location, new installation or renovation
Farm and house detailscurrent or planned herd capacity, number of houses, drawings or available dimensions
Existing equipmentmodels (if any), row and layer details, connection measurements, and photos
Required scopeThe current required range includes feeding, egg collection, and fecal removal equipment; List future options separately
On site interfacefeed supply, egg reception, and feces reception locations; Detailed information on available power sources
Arrange and supportprocurement time, production continuity limitations, and requirements installation support

Mark missing measurements or equipment details as' unconfirmed 'instead of estimating them as facts. Request the supplier to indicate whether the response is a preliminary estimate or a quotation for the reviewed configuration, and list the information still needed.

Send a briefing through our poultry equipment query form. Request a list of equipment models and quantities, including included, optional, and excluded items; Inquire about which layouts or interface drawings are available and which ones have not been resolved. Before confirming the order, please have your farm or technical team check these documents based on the equipment you will keep and the connection measurements you provide.
